Apple states that Apple Gift Cards, App Store Cards, and App Store and iTunes Gift Cards cannot be redeemed outside the country or region where they were purchased. That restriction makes the purchase region a required classification detail. The holder's present location or preferred payout currency does not by itself identify the card region.
Start with the printed currency, country-specific wording, store or purchase location, and electronic delivery details. Then identify the card type from its design and intended use. Apple distinguishes Apple Gift Card, App Store and iTunes cards, Apple Store Gift Cards, and older designs, so a broad label such as Apple card is not enough for a precise quote request.
Provide the Apple card type, purchase country or storefront region, currency, face value, and whether you hold a physical image, electronic image, or plain code. Keep the full redemption code private until the agreed support process requires it. A receipt is optional for an ordinary quote and not providing one does not reduce the quote category.
If the region remains unclear, do not select a higher estimate from another country and do not try to redeem the card as a test. Keep it unredeemed, share only the non-sensitive evidence needed for classification, and ask support to confirm the current category before proceeding.
